good-bye

We left Fort Collins this morning. So, so sad. I left my camera at a restaurant the night before so I couldn't take the pictures I had wanted to take before we left. But... we survived our (LONG) day in the car and made it to Salt Lake City in one piece. Three adults, four children, two cats, one dog, two cars (packed to their absolute fullest!), and a pop-up trailer. Whew!

The plan tomorrow is to make it all the way to Vacaville, but today took quite a bit longer than we thought it would, so that may or may not happen. We'll just see how we're all holding up. We're thankful for safe travels so far, a nice hotel that takes pets, and the very yummy dinner that we had.

empty

It's so strange to see our house empty.
Again.
It seems like it was just the other day we moved in and it was empty and then we quickly filled it up with all our stuff and lots of wonderful memories. This has been a great house and I'm thankful that we got to spend five years here.
A record for the Moulton family.

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord...

beach

Lighthouse beach, Sanibel Island

on the road again

God is taking us on yet another adventure, so I thought I'd give this blogging thing a try in an attempt to keep friends and family up to do date on all our monkey business (named in honor of Mark and his love for monkeys).

Since I forgot to take pictures of Ron and some of our amazing friends from church loading the truck the other day, I'll post a few shots of our trip to Florida.

It was so good to see my grandparents and it was a wonderful, much needed time away.

Psalm 100

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.
